UK African Nations Union (UANU) is passionate about creating a persistent virtual football platform contributing its long-term relationships with top sports federations, clubs and athletes to the endeavor.

UANU is aimed at providing strategic support and facilitating the development of African football in African communities in the United Kingdom through a series of key objectives:

  • To provide an open forum for tackling key issues and challenges facing African football communities.
  • To promote, develop, expose talent and to increase representation in top flight football.
  • To enable and empower African communities to create new opportunities and open pathways through the development of strategic partnerships.
  • To create sustainable opportunities in participation and open pathways to access football at all levels of the game by providing opportunities to access funding, partnerships, coaching, training and education.
  • Scale-up football skills in African communities by providing a range of high quality coach education programs.

Because of the high failure rate of players’ transition from youth football to professional football in UK African communities, the competition is also aimed at empowering upcoming footballers to maximise their potential in football and prove their existing good talents.
